Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline: 855-OH-CHILD

Resources for a Better Future

As a main goal of this initiative, we want to make sure that caregivers have the resources and support needed to provide their families with nurturing and loving homes. That is why the majority of the Council Members for this initiative work for Family and Children First Councils, Children Services, or Job and Family Services.

Family and Children First Councils work to enhance the well-being of children through engaging and empowering families, building community capacity, and coordinating systems and services

Job and Family Services administers public assistance and medical assistance programs, day care programs, and child support enforcement programs.

Children Services investigates reports of child abuse, neglect, and dependency and works to protect children and preserve families.
