Our Mission

The Power To Create A Better Future is a new initiative that’s designed to generate a sense of responsibility in preventing child abuse and neglect by offering resources and information to parents, caregivers, educators, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other concerned citizens. Our goal is to improve the well-being of children, so that every child in Southwest Ohio has the opportunity and resources to grow up safe and healthy.

Who Is The Southwest Ohio Regional Prevention Council?

The Southwest Ohio Regional Prevention Council helps carry out the mission of the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund—to prevent child abuse and neglect through a data-driven needs assessment and prevention plan—while specifically focusing on the needs of the Southwest Ohio region, including Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland, and Warren Counties.

What is the Ohio Children's Trust Fund?

The mission of the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund is to prevent child abuse and neglect through investing in strong communities, healthy families, and safe children. The Ohio Children’s Trust Fund supports the regional coordination of child abuse and neglect prevention efforts across eight regions in Ohio—Great Lakes, Northwest, Northeast, Eastern, Central, Western, Southeast, and Southwest.
